M/s Everest Power Private Limited (EPPL) has been incorporated as a 'Special Purpose Vehicle' (SPV) for the development of Malana Stage – II Hydro Electric Power Project.

EPPL signed the Implementation Agreement with Government of Himachal Pradesh in the month of January 2003 for the execution of 100 MW (2 x 50 ) Malana II Hydro Electric Project.

The Project is a run of the river scheme located across the Malana Nalah, a tributary of Parbati River, which in turn flows into Beas River below Bhunter in district Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.

The project is located in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh and envisages exploitation of the Hydro Power Potential in the upper reaches of Malana Nallah upstream of Malana-I (86 MW) HEP.
