Current Status of the project

• Infrastructures works:
• Road works : Road construction works 100 % completed. Block topping works shall be taken up after completion of project main works.
• Staff Colony: 1 BKH & 2 BHK works are in full swing and final stage of construction.
• Dam Complex:
• Dam : 100 % excavation and concreting completed. Miscellaneous works like parapet wall, supporting works are in progress.
• Drift & Keywall : 100 % construction completed.
• Dam Left bank Protection works are in final stage.
• Head Race Tunnel
• 4.95 KM excavation and lining works completed.
• All adits plugging completed.
• Surge Shaft
• Excavation & Concreting completed
• Pressure Shaft:
• Excavation and lining works completed
• Power House
• Excavation & Concreting works completed in all respects
• Electro-Mechanical Works
• All equipment’s including BoP items are erected and commissioned
• Project Commissioning activities 
• Reservoir filled up to MDDL level
• Water conductor system filled and tested
• Both machines spin test competed.
• Unit # 1 synchronized with grid on 05 May 2012.
• Unit # 2 synchronized with grid on 09 May 2012.
